I'll Drop You is a film about the life of Taras and Almagul, a couple whose marriage has undergone serious trials. Zharas, a successful employee of a large company, pays attention only to the material needs of his wife, not noticing her desire for self-development.
Kairat gets a long sentence for embezzling a large amount of public money. He has been in prison for two years. During the time spent behind bars, he has acquired new connections and gained a decent authority, but Kairat's "comfort zone" collapses when an antagonist comes to him at one of the meetings in the person of a civil servant who offers him to shorten the term in return for a service.
