Tinuke Phillips, a shy and self-conscious young woman, has always struggled with low self-esteem due to being mocked for not fitting society's standards of class, despite her wealthy background. She believes she's unworthy of love until she meets Kola, a kind and driven man who treats her with respect. Smitten by his warmth, she falls in love, and they eventually marry.
A retired sex worker on the run, moves to a small town and starts a lingerie-making business (made from her signature adire material) which inevitably empowers the conservative women. Only to anger the self instilled leader, the deaconess and wife to the preacher of the town's local church. She soon discovers the most unusual friendships and love in the unlikeliest of places.
