The story takes place in Country A, where the male protagonist, Zhao Jian, leads his Black Wolf Squad to escort goods for General Chachai of Country A. On the way, they encounter an ambush by guerrillas. Zhao Jian captures the female guerrilla leader, Zhang Ling, and learns that the Black Wolf Squad is not transporting humanitarian goods but materials for human experimentation. General Chachai, driven by personal greed, is conducting experiments on humans. Zhang Ling requests the Black Wolf Squad's help but is refused. On their way back, the Black Wolf Squad discovers the gruesome aftermath of the human experiments in the forest. Unable to bear the pain in his heart, Zhao Jian quits the Black Wolf Squad and decides to join Zhang Ling and fight against Chachai. His teammates unanimously support the decision and join him in a mission to take down Chachai's organization, seeking justice for the innocent souls who died.
