Ramachandran (c 1917 - 30 November 1990) was a Tamil actor and comedian who acted in lead or supportive roles, especially in comical parts, from the 1940s to the 1960s.
Known for his distinctive saucer-eyes, Ramachandran was known as "The Eddie Cantor of India".

Chandrasekaran, an industrialist, is very successful in his business and has a loving family. His three sons and two daughters live happily as one family. Rangan, with his simplicity and pure-hardheartedness, takes it upon himself to look after the mother and sister. In the end, he proves that love and affection is the greatest wealth.
