Sejal was born to immigrants of Indian decent in Flint, MI.
After completing high school, Sejal went on to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
There, she received her undergraduate degree in Bachelors of Science and also obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
After practicing dentistry for a few years, Sejal moved to New York City in 2002 to start her career in acting.
Sejal has recently worked on the feature films Jack Of The Red Hearts (2014) and Boychoir (2014), FOX's The Following (2014) and NBC's The Michael J.
Fox Show (2014).
She was also seen in the recurring role as Tejal on NBC's Do No Harm (2013).
Sejal is an accomplished Bharata Natyam dancer, having trained from the age of 6.
She has two daughters and is still a licensed dentist practicing in Manhattan.
