Rukmini was born and raised in Bangalore where she began her exploration of the arts with ballet classes.
At 13, she was part of a school play that changed everything.

After graduating from school, Rukmini did an intensive course in acting at Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
Since graduating from RADA in 2015, Rukmini was part of The Spargel-Starlight Theatre Tour that travelled to Germany in 2017.
