In the 1990s, he began to focus on TV series, and he was mostly playing the roles of the Upper Egyptian man, the doorman and the guard.
He appeared in the films: Father Amin, and A Man in Our House, and in the series: The Other Man, and Disobedience.
He passed away in 2007 at the age of 77.
The story revolves around the meeting of Colonel Mansour (Majed El Masry), the head of the Anti-Narcotics Bureau, with his old lover, Salma (Athar El Hakim), after her mother separated them. He became a police officer and never married, and she became an artist and married twice. They agreed to resume their previous relationship again.
