Marzia is a violinist playing with the first Afghan all-female orchestra, Zohra. Through her eyes we follow the daily reality of the girls in this orchestra. Although the situation in Afghanistan is improving, playing music is still unacceptable in the eyes of many, especially when it comes to young women. The film directed by Lucia Kašová depicts their desires, dreams and preparation for performances. During the tour in Slovakia, when they get to the former borders of the communist bloc, the symbolism of the Iron Curtain moves the Afghan story to a completely different perspective.
A family film from two legends of Czech children film, Vera Plívová-Simková and Drahomíra Králová. The starting point for the action is a village family with two dogs: their Dalmatians, bearing the legendary names of the movie's title, experience dreamlike visions of life in a "dog kingdom".
There are two different boys in the zoo. Ivoš is a small wrestler who wanders himself in the barracks when a blind boy throws it and squeezes it with lemonade. Out of a primordial friendship will spring up. Both of them love animals, and Ivoš decides to involve Sleppo, as he tells him, into the common child's world. It sneezes it to the animals and allows him to touch the turtles, elephants or camel - the animals he knew at the time only by the sounds.
