In 1958, while revolution is rumbling in Beirut, three sisters spend their holidays in an isolated village of Lebanese mountains: rebellious Nada, romantic Eva, and the eldest Layla, a good woman, beloved by everyone. But the war threatens and the sudden entrance of two French summer vacationers leads Layla to revolt against patriarchal society.
In a corner of one of Beirut’s streets, Nathalie is closing the bar where she works to welcome her boyfriend, Amin. It is an important night for the couple. They're going to celebrate him getting the role of his life in a huge feature film. But little did Nathalie know that Amin is also coming with small news that will turn their night upside down.

As a consequence, his characters will go through compelling and extraordinary circumstances. To clear his mind, he heads north where a screening of his short films is scheduled in a rural public school. A series of encounters along the way will turn his world upside down.
