Riwayat Hidup

Gun-Marie Fredriksson (Swedish: [maˈriː ˈfrêːdrɪkˌsɔn] (About this soundlisten); 30 May 1958 – 9 December 2019) was a Swedish pop singer, songwriter, pianist and painter, who was best known internationally as the lead vocalist of pop rock duo Roxette, which she formed in 1986 with Per Gessle.
The duo achieved international success in the late-1980s and early-1990s with their albums Look Sharp! (1988) and Joyride (1991), and had six top two hits on the Billboard Hot 100: "The Look", "Listen to Your Heart", "Dangerous", "It Must Have Been Love", "Joyride" and "Fading Like a Flower (Every Time You Leave)".
Gun-Marie Fredriksson was born on 30 May 1958 outside the small Swedish village of Össjö.

She was the youngest of five children born of Charles Gösta Fredriksson (1914–1981) and Inez Dagmar Fredriksson (née Hoffert, 1922–1998).
When she was four years old, her parents sold their farm and relocated to Östra Ljungby, where Gösta took a job as a postman and Inez became a factory worker.
Three years later, her oldest sister Anna-Lisa was involved in a fatal traffic collision; her car was crushed by a tanker truck while she was travelling to purchase a dress for her engagement party.
Marie explained: "She was 20 – and I can barely remember her today.
But I remember the grief, how the family was torn apart.
Completely.
After that I had to fend for myself.
I was only seven years old.
"

Roxette: It All Begins Where It Ends 2013

As one of Europe's most successful bands, Roxette have scored more international hits, rolled out bigger tours and received more airplay than any other Scandinavian band. When Marie Fredriksson was diagnosed with brain tumor in 2002, it seemed like the Roxette saga had reached its tragic end. But Marie got well against all odds, and during 2009 and 2010 the group step by step laid the ground for a comeback that again created modern music history. In February 2011 Roxette kicked off their return to the world's stages with a tour that soon was dubbed "The never ending tour", since the bookings never ceased to drop in. The world hadn't forgotten Roxette and before the group played their final show in Mexico City in September 2012, they had performed their classic song catalog in front of 1,5 million singing, screaming and crying people in 46 countries. A film team joined the tour and captured one of the most unexpected and moving returns any band has ever done.

Roxette: Look Sharp Live 1989 1989

Look Sharp Live is the second concert film by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released on 2 October 1989 on VHS format by EMI and Picture Music International.. The footage consists of two edited concerts filmed on the Borgholm Castle ruin on the Swedish Baltic Sea island of Öland on 25–26 July 1989. The project had a considerable budget, with the production crew hiring two helicopters from the Swedish Air Force to film aerial shots. Footage from this film was used to create two music videos: "Listen to Your Heart" and "Dangerous". Included as an unlisted track on all editions of the film is a remix of "The Look", which mixes the song with footage from two preexisting music videos directed by Peter Heath: "The Look" and "Dressed for Success".
