Mahmoud El Laithy was born on June 12, 1979 in Alexandria, Egypt.
He is an Egyptian folk singer.
He participated in several cinematic films by singing and sometimes acting.

He joined the Faculty of Engineering at the request of his father, but he returned to the singing path.
