She is known for her role as the little girl Ngọc Hà in "The Little Girl of Hanoi" (Em bé Hà Nội, d.
Hải Ninh, 1975), who goes searching for her father, a soldier in the PAVN, after her mother and sister were killed in the Christmas bombings.
She was awarded the title of People's Artist in 2007.
