When actor Jan Uuspõld has to film a promotional video for his summer fling Brita’s beauty salon, his wife calls him and lays down the law: he must come home and earn back all the money he has squandered. Since Jan always does what women want, he begins searching for a way out of the tricky situation. The solution seems to be participating in a remake of a film about his life. Unfortunately, the director decides to sideline Jan due to his poor public reputation. Left with no other choice, Jan embarks on a summer tour starring himself. But, as always, life happens when you have the best intentions. On his long journey home, Jan encounters a sex guru, men’s rights activists, manic fans, and even the Creator himself. He is both humbled and exalted, leading him to discover something within himself that he never knew was there.
The young country of Estonia is dancing to the jazzy tune of the 1920's when on December 1, 1924, the capital Tallinn is overrun by members of the Comintern in an attempt to stage a Communist coup. The film follows the fates of a young soldier called Tanel and his wife, a telephone operator named Anna, amidst the ensuing chaos which determines whether the country remains independent or becomes a minor province in the Communist Empire.
The graduates of a small town are on tenterhooks - the finals will be soon over and the young people will start lives of their own. They don't know what to expect - the school has taught them one thing, their parents something else, and the town shows them something completely else. There is something complicated between Kalle and Inna and eventually their relationship will end up in a mess. The relationship between Siim and Evi seems to be fine but even they will face misunderstandings. During the last weeks at school the love, faith and expectations of the graduates are put to the test.
