Judy Hill is a descendant of the Hill/Andrews music dynasty of the Treme, she operated the iconic Ooh Poo Pah Doo Bar before being pushed out in 2017.
The film “What You Gonna Do When The World’s On Fire?” (directed by Roberto Minervini), explores the relationship between law enforcement and African-Americans in the American south, and highlights the shutdown of Judy Hill’s beloved Ooh Poo Pah Doo Bar in Treme.
The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival on September 1, 2018.
