Jerzy Marr was born on March 21, 1901 in Lemberg, Galicia, Austria-Hungary as Oktawian Zawadzki.
He was an actor and assistant director, known for Pan Tadeusz (1928), Tajemnica skrzynki pocztowej (1929) and Ty, co w Ostrej swiecisz Bramie (1937).
He died on May 9, 1962 in Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland.
The son of a miller, following his call, flees to the sea, but after several years he returns to his family and to his childhood romance, Hanka.
