Beatles på Sverigeturné 2014

In 2013, it has been 50 years since the world's greatest pop band of all time, The Beatles, made their first international tour to Sweden. Rolf Hammarlund has followed the band's journey to various cities in Sweden and has met fans, journalists and others who were at the concerts in October 1963.

Sweden suffers from an smallpox epidemic - hundreds of thousands are vaccinated, and several thousand are isolated. Colonel Stig Wennerström is arrested for spying for the Soviets. John F Kennedy is murdered in Dallas, while Martin Luther King has a dream about the future, "Villervalle i Söderhavet" is shown on Swedish TV.
