Jeff Scott Soto (born November 4, 1965) is an American rock singer of Puerto Rican descent.
He is best known for being the vocalist on Yngwie Malmsteen's first two albums, and (briefly) the lead vocalist for Journey in 2006–2007.
He also had a long tenure as the frontman of hard rock band Talisman.
Currently he works as solo artist, with his self-named band SOTO and as the vocalist of supergroups W.
E.
T.
, Sons of Apollo and Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
His style ranges from hard rock to power metal, being influenced by classic soul singers as Sam Cooke as well as Journey's Steve Perry, and Freddie Mercury of Queen.

Axel Rudi Pell has been at...Axel Rudi Pell & Friends: Magic Moments (25th Anniversary) 2015
Axel Rudi Pell has been at this metal game for a while. Following up on last year's excellent "Into The Storm" studio offering, the German axeman has unleashed this live mega set. This is a 25th anniversary show and loaded with special guests. It also has a DVD and Blu ray counterpart, but we'll be focusing on the cd version here. The disc opens with four tracks from Axel's first band STEELER with opener "Call Her Princess" being the highlight. This is nuts and bolts 80's German steel with speedy riffs and chunky drums. Pell's later material played here after he went solo like "Nasty Reputation" and "Warrior" tends to get more melodic and ornate in line with a vintage RAINBOW sound. The remainder of the first disc focuses on the first part of Axel's career with vocalists Rob Rock and Jeff Scott Soto making guest appearances.
On January 17th 2013 WET played an...W.E.T - One Live in Stockholm 2014
On January 17th 2013, W.E.T. played an exclusive show at the Debaser Club in Stockholm, Sweden to celebrate the release of their sophomore album, Rise Up. Featuring Robert Säll (the W from Work of Art), Erik Mårtensson (the E from Eclipse) and Jeff Scott Soto (the T from Talisman), W.E.T showcased songs from the then forthcoming album Rise Up as well as from the critically acclaimed self-titled 2009 debut album. A truly exquisite performance, where the band played many fan favorites including two Talisman songs, as well as one song each from Eclipse and Work of Art. The Eclipse song was Bleed & Scream which was sung by Erik Martensson and the Work Of Art song was The Great Fall where the band were joined by Lars Säfsund, lead singer W.O.A. The show was filmed and recorded for a live CD / DVD release, which also includes two unreleased bonus tracks, studio cuts taken from the Rise Up sessions.

This DVD set includes 4 promo videos ("Bedroom Eyes," "Heaven Tonight," "Save Our Love," and "You Don't Remember"), plus an interview with Barry Barnes conducted in 2006 at Malmsteen's studio in Miami, FL.
