Gulya Korolyova (Marionella Vladimirovna Korolyova) was a Soviet child actress, born on September 9, 1922, in Moscow.
She appeared in films from a young age, including Women of Ryazan (1927) and Partisan's Daughter (1936), before leaving acting to study and later join the Red Army during World War II.
Korolyova became a war hero, serving as a medic and dying heroically in the Battle of Stalingrad on November 23, 1942, for which she was posthumously honored.
Since childhood, Gulya Korolyova cultivated willpower, the ability to overcome difficulties, and reach her heights. The main test of her short life was the war. In the Battle of Stalingrad, under fire, Gulya carried out wounded soldiers and, being wounded herself, found the strength to lead the detachment on the offensive. She took her fourth height, which became her last.
