Ginette Leclerc  (9 February 1912 – 2 January 1992) was a French film actress.
She appeared in nearly 90 films between 1932 and 1978.
Her last TV appearance was in 1981.

She was born Geneviève Lucie Menut in Paris, France and died in Paris.
She is possibly best-remembered for her roles in such films as Le Corbeau (1943), L'homme de nulle part (1937), The Baker's Wife (1938), Cab Number 13 (1948), and Tropic of Cancer (1970).

The plot is not the important thing in the film ; what makes it emblematic of the early and mid-seventies is the insouciant atmosphere. The '74 oil crisis had not yet morphed into a recession, and life was good - even though it was as hard as ever to find a home near one's workplace (or the reverse) ! Marthe Keller and Jacques Higelin are both excellent. The movie is not an all-time great, but it captures the "zeitgeist" of French life in the Seventies.
