Gabe Gabriel is a queer South African writer, director, and actor.
As a writer, Gabe has penned commissioned works for production companies in Canada, the US, India and South Africa; as a director, Gabe helmed South Africa's first gay Rom Com for Showmax; and his original father-son road trip screenplay 'Runs in the Family' (developed with real-life father and long-time collaborator Ian Gabriel) marks Gabe's first professional acting role since he came out as transgender in 2019.
