José Félix Salgado Macedonio (Guerrero, 1957) is a Mexican agronomist and politician.
He has also participated in a few films as a screenwriter and actor.
A member of the political party Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena), he has run for governor of Guerrero in the 1993 and 1999 state elections and served as the municipal president of Acapulco from 2005 to 2008.
In January 2021, he renewed his candidacy as Morena's aspirant for the governorship of Guerrero.
However, on March 26, the National Electoral Institute (INE) annulled his candidacy—not due to the allegations against him, but for failing to submit a report on income and expenses during the pre-campaign.
María, Pablo, and Juanito live in an orphanage under the care of Father Sócrates, which is on the verge of closing due to a lack of resources. Juanito is diagnosed with a heart condition, further complicating their situation. Don Lucho, the owner of the town's seafood restaurant, tells the children an old urban legend about "Tétano," an ancient race car that used to beat everyone and win every race but stopped competing by the pilot's choice. The only solution to pay off all the debts and save Juanito's life with an operation is to convince Tétano's pilot to race again.
