Farzin Sabooni was born on September 6th 1975 in Sanandaj, Kurdistan, Iran.
He began the acting as his first experiment in a play with a professional theater group at his 7 years old as a child who has just one line.
It was a start for some training courses in acting lessons and he joined some theater groups at school in his born town and received some awards from local theater festivals until high school ended and went to fine art Tehran university in drama at 1994.
As the same time he started his professional acting career in grand theater hall in Tehran.
In 1995 he did his first film 'And Now Existence', by Bahman Qobadi, it was a television movie and he received the first prize for leading role actor from the Vahdat Film Festivall in 1996.
After that he played more than 70 plays, TV films&series and feature films and get many nominations and awards for his acting activities.
Mamo, an old and legendary Kurdish musician living in Iran, plans to give one final concert in Iraqi Kurdistan. After seven months of trying to get a permit and rounding up his ten sons, he sets out for the long and troublesome journey in a derelict bus, denying a recurring vision of his own death at half moon. Halfway the party halts at a small village to pick up female singer Hesho, which will only add to the difficulty of the undertaking, as it is forbidden for Iranian women to sing in public, let alone in the company of men. But Mamo is determined to carry through, if not for the gullible antics of the bus driver.
