This is a tragic love story between the Agha's daughter İpek and the poor farmhand Ferdi. The two lovers, who grew up in the same village, separated when İpek moved to the city, but their love continued. Despite the kinship between Abbas Agha and Ferdi's father, the Agha's change of heart when he inherits money puts an end to the friendship. Despite his father's warnings about Ipek, Ferdi doesn't listen and moves to the city, thinking that Abbas Agha will help him. As Agha despises Ferdi, he endures every insult and hardship for his love. Realizing that he cannot be with İpek while he's poor, there is only one way left for the young man to realize his dreams: to go to Istanbul.
Yumurcak is a very naughty boy, living with his father Nihat who is a cab driver. One day a bar singer named Aysel gets on his car, escaping from someone. Nihat saves her and becomes her driver. Bekir who is the partner of the bar, fancies Aysel and he is very jealous of her. Another gangster kills him and puts the blame on Nihat. Yumurcak's mother Selma, having learned the news, walks carelessly on the street and gets hit by a car in an accident and becomes blind. Yumurcak finds the gun of the crime in the garden, takes it to the judge and asks for his father's release. Bekir tries to escape and he kidnaps Yumurcak. However Nihat and the inspector reach just in time. Yumurcak and his family return to their happy days.
Fikret goes to Istanbul to work in the orchestra founded by his military friends. His first job is to play at the birthday party of Sevda, the fiancée of wealthy shipowner Osman. The unexpected rapprochement between Fikret and Sevda creates tension.
