Derby Romero (born June 8, 1990) is an Indonesian actor, singer, producer, and director of Batak descent.
Derby started his career in the entertainment world by becoming an advertising model in a newspaper in 1999.
Since then, Derby has been a model for various advertisements.
Derby began to be known after playing the role of Sadam in the film Petualangan Sherina as his acting debut in 2000.
In addition to acting, Derby also tried his hand at singing.
In 2002, he launched his first solo album as a child singer, entitled Tangguh .
This album was produced by his own father.
In 2008, by collaborating with Iras Dollaren, he formed Duo Derby and launched his first single entitled "Gelora Asmara".
Her name became increasingly well-known after starring in the Kepompong series from 2008 to 2009, along with a number of other main actors such as Aryani Fitriana , Mikha Tambayong , Dinda Kirana , and Tania Putri .
Derby formed a music group called Derby and The Revolution, consisting of Iras, Banes, Yudi, and Raul.
Derby once duetted with Abby in a song entitled "Although I Can't Have It".
