At a young age he moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia; where he was raised by his grandmother.
Obviously not being local, he learned at an early age that being funny was a characteristic that would break the racial barriers that plagued the south.
He soon found his passion in making people laugh.
Staying close to his roots, both in Maryland and Virginia, Daryl embarked on his college career in the Washington DC area where he acted in numerous plays.
From the college stage for plays and receiving his degree, Daryl set his sights big and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of entertaining the world.
