Ingenting af betydning er sket indenfor de sidste 100 år eller deromkring, byen sover sin Tornerosesøvn med ansigtet vendt mod fjorden og ryggen mod det lave land, da alle tiders uvejr trækker ubemærket hen over dem, såsom tordenbyger og sommerskyer højt, højt oppe.
