In this re-worked and expanded version of the original 2018 film, two queer ex-Mormon missionaries embark on a transformative journey across America, uncovering the devastating effects of religious dogma on LGBTQ+ members and former members of the LDS Church, as a single, intimate conversation –spanning from childhood to adulthood– unfolds over the course of seven chapters.
Despite it being her father's death anniversary, Patricia, a young streamer, tries to continue with her daily rutine until one sponsor offers her a large sum to make a live stream that night playing "ORFEO", a paranormal summoning challenge. She accepts without imagining how dangerous it is to face your own demons.
After my stay in India, I returned to find myself filled with images and a deep nostalgia for what I had just lived. Time went by and these images faded away. This is my attempt to recreate those narratives, my attempt to dust the memories of a previous life, that just keeps fading with every passing day. I fill their absence with music, and blurry images and the sound of trees in the mountains and the burning sun that tanned my skin...I fill them with passages from India.
