Alex was born in Acapulco, Mexico, but moved to Texas when he was only two years old.
He then moved to Kentucky and resided there for seven years where he met his future bride.
He moved temporarily to Hollywood, but returned to Kentucky where he resides with his wife and two children.
Alex uses his combination of Hispanic culture and his wife's "hillbilly" history to present a naturally funny mix of topics from Mexican-American culture and race relations, family, friends and just everyday life with his wife, children and in-laws.
He loves to refer to his two children as his "little hick-spanics" because their mother is from Kentucky.
Alex won his first American Latin Media Arts Award (ALMA) in 2008 for "Alex Reymundo Hick-Spanic, Live in Alburquerque".
