Alan Mandel was born on May 22, 1984 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to a Brazilian mother and English father.
He has been based in the UK since the age of 10.
He made his professional acting debut alongside Colin Firth in the BBC Film Born Equal (2006) and has worked both as an Actor and Director since graduating from The University of Reading in 2005.
